LENOVO T40 6CELLS A REPL BATTERY
This replacement battery seems to work as advertised for my T42. The battery initially would not charge with windows 7 ultimate 32 bit but a re-install of the ACPI composite battery driver got it charging.
The battery percentage remaining no longer shows in the power manager icon but the charge level is available from the windows 7 power icon in the task bar. Update: driver update of the power manager has the battery icon showing properly again.
